Dear Chocolatier,

thank you for reading this and most of all, thank you so much for creating for me! This is quite long, so please use Ctrl-F to find the parts that are relevant for you.

Likes: humor, crack, gen, fluff, angst, tragedy (I don’t mind character death), h/c, UST, slice of life, sickfic (my mind is somehow convinced that the ickier the illness, the greater the proof of love of the one taking care of the sick person; not serious/terminal illnesses please though), pregnancy, moral dilema, loyalty, horror/uncanniness/creepiness (mostly in a non-sexual way), seeing a couple get together through the eyes of an amused outsider, friendships (especially those that have existed forever) turning into love but also dislike turning into attraction/love. Siblings being siblings, stories featuring children (though I'm not fond of the trope of characters somehow being turned back into children). Weird and unusual biology, magic (more of the subtle sort, e.g. prophetic and shared dreams, rituals, objects with certain powers, potions, rather than the dramatic wand waving type with explosions, though that can be fun too), cultural worldbuilding, descriptive/atmospheric stories. Alternate realities are great, as are AUs, including modern AUs (I'm not too big on high school AUs, but I do like those which show the characters in the job/professional field of the author, whatever that may be, if any) or putting the fandom characters into the tropes from the Original Story pairings, if you find something that fits. Feel free to throw any other characters from the fandom into the story as well, if that needed to be said. I'm pretty easy to please. :)


Dislikes: PWP (I'm not opposed to smut, I'd just prefer not to have the main focus of the story on it), het (canon pairings in the background are fine though, except that I'd prefer any Tauriel/Kíli to have been in the past), poly, A/B/O, non-con, happy incest (dark and twisted is fine), underage, reader inserts, bestiality, animal death, serious/terminal illness, bashing female characters. Any exceptions will be listed under the specifics for the pairing.


In case you're an artist: I'm afraid I'm not terribly good at coming up with art prompts. Anything fluffy would be great, but feel free to use one of the writing prompts or create something based on one of my fics (though I'm afraid I haven't written something for each of the pairings/character combinations). If you feel like doing something landscapey (I know that's not everyone's cup of tea), I'm also completely in love with the landscapes Tolkien describes (I'd be completely happy if you keep the characters silhouetty and simple in front of the landscape then, a bit like the fellowship/company outlines in front of the mountains). Just one thing: I'd prefer any art to be SFW. :)


I'm adding a few prompts in case you need inspiration (Fandoms in order of the signup, pairings in random order), feel free to use them, combine them, use them for a different pairing if you think that would fit - or disregard them completely, if you have a different idea! Also, sorry about the delay in posting them!

Request 1 (Fanfic & Fanart):
The Hobbit (Jackson movies):

 

Sigrid & Tauriel & Tilda:

• begging Bard to adopt Tauriel after Thranduil bans her
• lifelong friendship (e.g. Tauriel teaching them how to fight after they beg her, or Tauriel consoles one of them when she is frustrated that she is just not getting the hang of it at all, Tauriel becomes the godmother of some of their children)
• Tauriel not good with kids at all and is completely awkward when Tilda tries to braid her hair/asks  her why she’s not small like fairies from stories, while Sigrid is either cringing in embarrassment or teasing Tauriel and her sister (already having struck up a friendship with Tauriel slightly earlier)

Sigrid & Tilda & Hilda:

• Hilda becomes a  bit of a mother figure after their mother die (perhaps she’s an aunt on their mother’s side)
• Hilda is their aunt and wants to stay in contact, but Bard is against it, either because he can’t stand seeing her in his heartbreak or because she’s a bit of a free spirit and that might endanger them further in the political situation
• them just learning fun and badass stuff from her in general, either before or after the events in the movie
• Hilda tries to sneak them things (food/clothes/…) but it always goes hilariously wrong
• Hilda tries to cheer them up through silliness & Alfrid impressions

Sigrid & Tilda:

• despite their father’s warnings, they find ways to prank/annoy the Master of Lake town and Alfrid. If they annoy them, bonus if they do it so subtly that not even the Master can actually do anything about it without making a fool out of himself
• just generally supporting each other through the tough times in their childhood, or also when things get better when they get older, just being sisters: telling secrets, getting in petty little arguments and making up again, knowing just what the other wants as a (birthday) gift and somehow making it happen
• one of them getting transformed into a dragon/water monster (bonus if it’s Sigrid so Tilda get sot be the brave one/fighter, which is kind of my headcanon for her) and since the only one the monster definitely didn’t want to harm is her sister, she is made to go tame it/kill it/chase it off
• one of them (maybe Sigrid) is supposed to be married off to Alfrid/the Master/have something horrible be done to her (be burned as a human sacrifice/fed to Smaug) and the other turns into a dragon/water monster in her rage and fear and goes on a rampage of revenge. For either scenario, happy and sad endings are equally welcome

Sigrid/Tauriel:

• getting together, either while teaching Sigrid how to fight or seeing each other again years later and remembering that fondly, founding a family (either fempreg or difficulties finding the right donor)
• when Sigrid’s husband dies, she seeks out her first love
• when Tauriel returns from exile (or at least returns closer to home), Sigrid is old and their time together short
• they try to hide their new relationship, but are anything but subtle (maybe Bard and/or Thranduil are ridiculously dense in that regard though, while Bain, Tilda and Legolas are facepalming)

Thorin/Dwalin:

• getting together early in their lives, Dwalin doing something awkwardly sweet to cheer up/distract Thorin from his duties
• they somehow fight & split up (or split up for financial reasons/false honor/…) during their journeys, perhaps only getting back together on the quest hesitantly (but before that is good too), maybe one of them is rationalizing why it would be better not to be together
• H/C due to an injury is also always good too
• one of them tries to court the other and the one being courted is just completely clueless or thinks he has a weird stalker

Tauriel/Galadriel:

• Galadriel helping Tauriel put herself back together after BotFA (past Kiliel is okay), maybe finding out the truth about what happened little by little (maybe Tauriel knows how to show only the thoughts she wants to show, or Galadriel is being polite). If you feel like it, you can throw in some past Galadriel/Melian with Galadriel expecting something much more horrible to have happened when Tauriel hesitates to talk at first (like she herself hid the truth about the first kinslaying from Melian back in the day)
• I love dark!Queen Galadriel or any version of powerful but manipulative/morally dubious Galadriel. I’d love to see how that would play out in a relationship with Tauriel, whether Galadriel manipulates her (dub-con okay for this), Tauriel is attracted to this type of personality or maybe Tauriel realizing things and trying to change things (up to you if successfully or not)
• I like the crack theory that Tauriel caused everything that ever went wrong in Middle earth. Maybe Galadriel is forever cleaning up her mess and ends up saying something along the lines of “you’re really sweet, but since things somehow keep going wrong around you, why don’t you just move in with me so that I can fix things earlier and easier?”

Tauriel/OFC:

• something sweet about Tauriel and one of the female guards making time for each other in their schedule, distracting each other on duty…
• OFC being a woman (maybe an old friend) in Tauriel’s home village who she gets to see far too seldom (maybe she isn’t too fond of all things military but sees why Tauriel wanted to join), maybe they get together when Tauriel returns for the first time in years after being raised as Thranduil’s ward
• OFC from Tauriel’s home village is not too fond of Thranduil’s laws and keeps walking the line, while Tauriel is torn between her duty and her heart
• OFC (either from village or from guard) is somehow turned into one of Mirkwood’s spiders and they somehow try to cope with that. I’m one of those weird people who actually like spiders, so I’d kind of prefer Tauriel’s reaction to be along the lines of “Oh no, you’ve been transformed, and into one of the realm’s enemies at that!” rather than a more general “eww, a spider!”. I’d love to see Tauriel trying to keep her safe from the other guards. Bonus if being a spider isn’t all bad and OFC figures out the useful sides of it instead of just being the damsel in distress (spider silk is pretty cool, and having some more hands/feet might also be useful – maybe she takes up knitting? ;) ).

Dís/Tauriel:

• preferably with Ks crush on T being unrequited or an AU where kid k is all heart-eyed when he meets t and tells his mom “either you marry her and she becomes my other mom or I’ll marry her one day” Dís is either awkward because dammit, she wasn’t planning on acting on her attractionand wanted to keep it secret or awkward first date/meeting or its dammit, how does he know what we both kind of want to do (after a sensible amount of time), what else does he know?!” o_O
• they help each other get over Kíli’s and Fíli’s deaths (up to you if you want to have Ks crush be unrequited while she was still fond of him, want to ignore that part of canon or make it AU or want to add in the awkwardness of all that.

Thorin/Bifur and Thorin & Bifur:
(because I’d love see any of the following with them in a friendship, a relationship, or somewhere in between)

• Bifur as one of THorin’s guards gets to hear and see things in that position that others don’t so he gets really defensive of Thorin. I’d just love seeing them getting on really well, having each other’s back , helping each other when things get tough
• Bifur recognizing that THorin is actually having mental health issues when he gets the dragon sickness and isn’t just being an asshole and standing up for him, after Thorin stood up for him countless times before
• Thorin trying flowers for Bifur, even though they are “elf food”, or maybe sickfic because one of them ate a flower he shouldn’t have eaten
• dwarves believing Khuzdûl is still the way it was when Mahal gave it to them, but it actually did change and Bifur is stuck really speaking the old version. Thorin, having been enough of a nerd/having had enough performance anxiety about eventually becoming king and wanting to be PERFECT, actually dug down to the really old books and made the effort to learn the old version of Khuzdûl, so he is one of the few that actually really understand Bifur
• Bifur took that axe for Thorin, up to you if that was before or after he actually got to know Thorin, how guilty Thorin feels about that, if Bifur remembers, if Thorin even realizes it or if they have over the years become comfortable enough about it to make jokes about it – to everyone else’s horror

 

Request 2 (Fanfic):
The Lord of the Rings - J.R.R. Tolkien:

Beruthiel/OFC:

• handmaiden helping B through tough times in Gondor, reunion after years of separation
• B misses OFC from home, maybe letters or attempts to send a message somehow
• reunion after many years and B has become too bitter and harsh for a relationship with OFC to work
• OFC is torn being annoyed and amused at the cat shenanigans (“dammit, she puked in my shoe again!”)

Gilraen/Dís:

• after Dís loses everything dear to her, Gilraen shows her that life can still go on

Aragorn/Halbarad:

• first meetings, getting together, going on their first journey together and discovering their feelings, just comfortable evening alone in the wild together
• Halbarad’s foresight shows him he must go to Aragorn if he wants Aragorn’s mission to succeed, but he knows the price (argument because Aragorn notices somethingis  up, but Halbarad doesn’t want to tell him (at first?)
• Halbarad worries during Aragorn’s journeys
• first meeting doesn’t go well, they both think the other is arrogant and keep trying to one-up each other, failing spectacularly

Primula/Lobelia:

• snarky, rebellious and overly fond of silverware, they are the scandal and horror of the Shire -  and thoroughly enjoy shocking the other hobbits
• Primula manages to break through Lobelia’s spike fascade – or maybe that fascade wasn’t that spiky at all, just narrator bias?
• After Primula’s death, all Lobelia wants is Primula’s spoons back – which Primula’s cousin Bilbo ended up inheriting, after all, those spoons were in a Baggins household, they should stay in the Baggins family, right?

Daughter of Arwen/Daughter of Éowyn:

• friendship to love, all the fluff and young love, trips exploring their countries, finding their freedoms in the middle of their duties
• getting away from their guards on a trip and discoerign their feelings for each other
• both try to match-make each other with their brother (“hey, I want her to stay close to me and what better way to achieve that?”), before realizing their feelings and that they are requited

 

Request 3 (Fanfic):
Merlin (TV):

Merlin/Arthur Pendragon:

• Merlin realizes that there’s something in Camelot’s water that’s making sure that nobody ever notices magic and decides to see how far he can take it before Arthur does notice – or Arthur already knows and is in on the joke, but maybe he still has a hard time seeing it (“Did you just use magic?” “No, that was just me being amazing at…”). Or maybe make it a 5 times thing.
• Merlin being eaten by guilt at his role in Uther’s death
• Merlin just cracking under the all the pressure he’s constantly under, H/C
• Merlin waiting for Arthur to wake after Camlann or Arthur waking but only partially remembering everything
• actually leaving Camelot and becoming farmers, at least for a little while
• Arthur plans a “hunting trip” which Merlin complains about, but it is actually just supposed to be a snuggly getaway for once

Gwen/Morgana:

• Gwen realizing Morgana is turning and trying to stop her (up to you if she succeeds)
• Morgana has fully turned dark and powerful and Gwen is the only bit of light and tenderness left in her life, while Gwen in turn can’t bear to leave Morgana.
• Gwen trying to put Morgana back together when she is caught and punished
• they adopt Aithusa and nurse that poor dragon back to health together, healing some of their own wounds in the process
• Morgana treating Gwen to a picnic to make up for all the stress she’s under waiting on her
• Morgana entertains Gwen (who knows about her magic) during a boring court dinner by making small mishaps happen to the obnoxious visiting king and his arrogant knights (“What is going on here? Surely, magic is involved!!” “Why, my dear King XYZ, that cannot be the case. Didn’t you know that magic is banned in Camelot?”

Request 4 (Fanfic):
Crossover Fandom:

Yavanna/Pomona:

• “You know, having a Valier head over heels in love with you is rather flattering, but flowers sprouting up wherever I walk is a bit too much. Also, I just prepared the vegetable plot and now that I walked over it, it’s full of flowers.”
• Yavanna creating the apple as a gift for Pomona
• Pomona was one of the Maiar once and in a relationship with Yavanna. She was reborn as the Pomona we know, and Yavanna is trying to get her to remember

Uinen/Goldberry:

• theme of seasonal love, Uinen visiting Goldberry once a year, what happens to nature when she stays away/delays one year (or maybe Goldberry is the one to make that journey?)
• how Goldberry influences Uinen, she personifies the seasonal changes after all
• creating deep sea creatures together (or maybe they got drunk/tried pipeweed/Aiwendil’s mushrooms/took a craft course together and tried creating animals -> sea anemones, sea urchins, sea cucumbers, sea stars (as a present for Varda)
  
• perhaps using eels as messengers/eels being their creation together/..., since eels hatch in the ocean, then migrate to rivers and then return to the ocean to reproduce
• Uinen being the only Valier to see how powerful Goldberry is (maybe Yavanna does too, but she chooses to ignore it over in timeless Aman?)

Goldberry/Pomona:

• Pomona meeting/honoring Goldberry at each turn of the season -> sensational results in her garden

Georgette/Louise:

• first kissing each other in the enthusiasm of both getting a place in the teacher seminar or a job at the school in Berlin
• Louise taking care of Georgette when she’s ill
• going out for once and cracking up when a guy tries to chat them up and just doesn’t get it

Lily/Snow Flower:

• Snow Flower realizes their misunderstanding in time and manages to make up for it
• sweet scene from their childhood
• dream scene, maybe something with the imagery of birds flying away

Original Work:

Female cat owner whose cat escapes the house/Female neighbor who finds said cat:

• not much to add to that. Maybe the cat is being particularly uncooperative; attraction developing while getting the cat back or when returning to thank the neighbor is both great, or maybe the cat owner and the neighbor just start talking because of the incident

Witch & Witch's Cat:

• going on an adventure together, however big or small that adventure turns out to be (maybe they just need to bury the button that fell off the witches coat or something like that)
• a cat that is terrified of nearly everything or a completely overconfident cat (“of course I’m way stronger than that bear!”) would both be fun (or anything in between, really)

Forest Witch/Female Embodiment of the Forest; Sea Witch/Female Embodiment of the Sea:

• the Embodiment coming to the witch with an important errand or quest
• maybe needing to summon the Embodiment once a year/in regular intervals

Winter Witch/Spring Witch:

• I can see this being a love/hate thing, with kisses and embraces between their fights and arguments
• or maybe have this be a “they only get to see each other once a year” thing
• I’m equally fond of them being images of their sheer , monumental power and of them being short, roundish ladies surrounding themselves with cute things and devices regarding their seasons
• if you want to put a more modern spin on it, global warming is taking the Winter Witch’s powers/making them unreliable and the Spring Witch goes on a mission to save her (either alone or together with the weakened Winter Witch)
• if there is more than one witch per season, something about the reactions of the others to their relationship would be interesting

Library Ghost/Patron With A Very Overdue Library Book:

• sent out by librarian to haunt patron (or it goes of its own choice and gets in trouble with the librarian later?), maybe subtle at first (keeps putting the book in question in clear sight to remind patron) before going for a full out, terrifying haunting, not listening at all to the very good reasons the patron might (or might not) have
• maybe the angsty reasons the patron has for not returning the book makes the ghost come back and eventually fall for the patron
• or the patron offers to have sex with the ghost to pay off part of the fees and while the ghost is revolted at first, the offer does grow on it

Princess Ghost/Tour Guide At Her Castle:

• “most reliably haunted castle in the country!”, according to guide books – except when the princess ghost goes into a quiet sulk after an argument and leaves the tour guide struggling at the parts of the tour where she usually puts on a show, or she haunts the castle in odd and unusual ways if she’s angry
• enjoying tea in a quiet nook in the castle when there’s no tour going on, maybe plotting new ways to frighten/impress tourists
• their first meeting or how they become a couple would also be fun

Princess/Handmaiden:

• whispered sweetness between them once the door closes behind them
• loyalty and support going both ways
• the handmaiden saving the princess from an assassin

woodland animal & mushroom fairy:

• the animal makes the mistake of (almost?) stepping on or nibbling on the mushroom and the mushroom fairy makes sure it regrets it
• or the mushroom fairy decides to adopt the animal (maybe a slug, spider or insect) and take care of it
• maybe (if you feel like adding it in) mycel serves as a communication line to other mushroom fairies and the trees, making the mushroom fairy be able to call for support (or maybe just gossip?), because science interwoven with fairytales is fun

Female Dragonrider/Female Dragonrider:

• maybe one of them came got their dragon at a much higher age than usual and is being tutored by a younger but very experienced dragon rider
• romantic rides into the sunset  and beneath the stars
• the dragons being snarky and teasing about the developing relationship (“get a room!” “eww, I really don’t need to see this!”) or maybe the dragons don’t get along at first (if you want to add some romance between the dragons (or even add in dragonlings), that’s great too)
• maybe they meet first when their dragons get in a fight mid-air with them on their backs and they aren’t able to restrain them, despite both of their experience

Male Fairy/Male Human:

• I love first meetings for stories like this
• uncanniness in the fairy is always good, as is a good portion of sadness in the story
• worldbuilding and cultural differences, or basing it on old myths/fairytales (from anywhere in the world) are also great!

Anglerfish Mermaid/Original Female Character:

• OFC is a marine biologist who finds the injured Anglerfish Mermaid and saves her by putting her in a pressurized deep-sea aquarium and nursing her back to health
• OFC goes into the deep-sea in a submarine and is lured off course and out of reason by the Anglerfish Mermaid
• I love all the weirdness of deep-sea creatures, so anything dealing with that (in the Anglerfish Mermaid or in other creatures/ways) is more than welcome

Marine Biologist/Deep-sea Tentacle Creature that Discover Humans are Prefect Hosts & Incubators ; Tentacle Ovipository Alien/Male Human Character ; Female Human/Egg-laying Monster ; Male Human/Egg-Laying Monster:
(non-con and bestiality DNWs obviously don’t apply to these. ;) )

• I’m more interested in the body horror aspects than in the smutty aspect, though those obviously play a role too. I’d prefer it if the tentacles (if they are involved, the egg-laying monster can of course be of a different variety too – feel free to get creative with it!) are not just interested in the genitals though, skin, mouth, nose, eyes… those would probably all be equally interesting to the monster, especially if it isn’t quite sure how humans function
• where not specified, I’m fine with the monster inhabiting any ecosystem (cave, deep-sea, space, swamp,…) and I’d be equally fine with the marine biologist being male or female
• I’m quite fascinated with parasites being able to change/harness their host’s brain chemistry to make the host act the way it helps the parasite, so something with that would be interesting
• if you include the “birthing” aspect, feel free to make it as gory and horrific as you like, with the host being quite aware of what is happening

 Shapeshifting Parasitic Lifeform/Woman:

• as mentioned above, I’m quite fascinated with parasites being able to change/harness their host’s brain chemistry to make the host act the way it helps the parasite
• the shapeshifting parasitic lifeform taking the shape of an attractive person to get close to the woman with subsequent “what are you doing, no, get away from me” or the lifeform shifting into various objects/animals to get to her and gradually gaining more power over her are both good
• maybe the SPL is not out for her blood/food being processed in her intestines/parts of her liver/… but is instead intends to live from her thoughts/hopes/creativity/free will/…
• creepiness/horror/body horror/gore are all welcome, the non-con and bestiality DNWs obviously don’t apply for this one
• or if you want to make this one humorous, maybe the SPL makes a big show of stealthily and creepily getting close to her – and then ends up just wanting her sweat, toenail clippings, leg hair, appendix, kidney stones… whatever part of her she doesn’t need at all.

Unicorn/Very Intelligent Rhino:

• I’m fine with the “very intelligent” part being played straight or it being used in an ironic way, with the unicorn being slightly annoyed by being stalked by this moronic rhino (or tricking the rhino into doing it favors)
• crack or angst are both great
• going on an adventure together, with the rhino often struggling to deal with the weird things they encounter, but maybe managing to save the day anyway

Female Pirate/Female Naval Officer:

• enemies to lovers: maybe the Officer needs the Pirate’s help for something and they end up getting close to each other that way, or they are attracted to each other and deal with it by trying to one-up each other constantly
• maybe the Officer ends up arresting the Pirate (maybe the circumstances didn’t allow anything else) and when the Pirate is sentenced to death, the Officer breaks her out and maybe joins the pirates, despite her difficulties adjusting to that lifestyle (or maybe she just thought it would be difficult but she ends up getting used to it in no time at all and enjoys the new freedom)
• lovers to enemies: they used to be lovers before the Pirate became a pirate and equally miss and hate each other. Maybe they still meet up once a year for a secret tryst?
• they’re both pretending to be men but found out each other’s secret by chance and have an involuntary connection through that
  

 Widow in a Gothic Mansion/Governess of Her Child:

• the widow is cold and stand-offish at first but they grow close in a crisis or in a lonely winter night

Harry Potter - J. K. Rowling:

Sirius Black/Remus Lupin (Harry Potter - Rowling):

• one or both of them tell James about his feelings for the other- but only after making James take an unbreakable vow (or something else along those lines) to not tell the other. James is close to despairing
• fluffy cuteness (and of course chaos) when babysitting little Harry
• slowly getting back together after PoA, but not without some misgivings about the past lack of trust, and their grief for their friends, previously repressed, also comes boiling up, not making things easier

Sirius Black/James Potter (Harry Potter - Rowling):

• Sirius looking back when James is dead, or painfully unrequited feelings
• James’s constant proclamations of love for Lily are only to hide that he is in a happy relationship with Sirius
• getting together the first summer Sirius lives with the Potters, or during a camping trip

Regulus Black/Severus Snape (Harry Potter - Rowling):

• Severus unintentionally set Regulus on the path to betraying Voldemort and feels responsible for his death
• managing to have a light-hearted and fun evening despite the war

Alice Longbottom/Lily Evans Potter (Harry Potter - Rowling):

• friendship turning to love at Hogwarts
• secret affair during their pregnancies while their husbands are constantly on missions and they are left to boredom, frustration and worry
• the mourning widows turning to each other trope again, I seem to be fond of that one… :D I’d love seeing something that includes little Harry and Neville growing up as brothers

Albus Dumbledore/Gellert Grindelwald (Harry Potter - Rowling):

• Albus being in denial at the signs that this is not going to end well even before Ariana’s death
• Albus occasionally visits Gellert in prison and he is never quite sure how to feel about these visits

Fleur Delacour/Nymphadora Tonks (Harry Potter - Rowling):

• What if Fleur had decided to do an internship at the Aurors instead of the bank? Maybe they seek out each other’s comfort after a difficult mission and things develop from there
• Freshly widowed after the war, they turn to each other

Fleur Delacour/Hermione Granger (Harry Potter - Rowling):

• Hermione needs to learn/improve her French and the lessons end up taking quite a different direction than planned
• a road trip through France
• Hermione does get get quite affected by the Veela charm (which comes as a bit of a revelation), she is just much better at hiding it than the boys – except that concentrating on hiding it turns out to have hilarious/embarrassing effects – maybe her magic becomes unreliable/ridiculously over-the-top/she mixes up spells/can’t do any magic at all?

Hermione Granger/Luna Lovegood (Potter - Rowling):

Luna Lovegood/Ginny Weasley (Harry Potter - Rowling):

• they wonder which strange creatures could also exist – and end up making up quite a few themselves
• Ginny loves setting a good bat-boogey hex on anyone who tries to bully Luna (not that Luna necessarily needs help)… except Luna herself, of course.  Pure fluff (perhaps something out in nature?) is also much appreciated.

• Pomona is the best supplier of catnip around and even though Minerva in her human form perhaps isn’t too fond of Pomona, her animagus form knows to appreciate it. Eventually, human Minerva does come around, she just takes a good deal longer.

• they’ve known each other for ages, but after Minerva gets hit by those three stunning spells, she is left in Poppy’s care once she returns from St. Mungo’s and they really get to know each other, unexpected feelings developing
• h/c during the war or something sweet . Perhaps they leave little things to make the other smile when they know they will have a difficult day.

Regulus Black & Sirius Black (Harry Potter - Rowling):

• Bittersweet to tragic. Standing up for each other as children, assumed betrayal, poisoning their relationship more even when they don’t want to… but still caring about each other, even if they don’t want to admit it to themselves.
• AU in which Sirius lives long enough to hear how Regulus really died
• both of them living and reconciling

Galadriel | Artanis/Melian (Silmarillion):

• They both enjoy the lessons Melian gives Galadriel far more than they should as they develop feelings for each other.
• mistrust and guilt as it becomes clear that Galadriel is hiding something about her departure from Aman from Melian. Or maybe Melian’s interest in Galadriel starts out as an attempt to figure out what she is hiding, perhaps by manipulating her/making her let her guard down

Haleth/spider of Nan Dungortheb (Silmarillion):

• Haleth somehow manages to gain this spider’s respect, friendship and eventually love
• the spider is smitten with Haleth for some reason or the other and Haleth is puzzled and slightly disturbed by this spider following her around
• or go ahead and play this one straight: horror, non-con, bestiality , body horror, impregnation/oviposition and post-coital meals are all good for this one

Ilmarë/Thuringwethil (Silmarillion):

• both of them being Maiar of the air before Thuringwethil switches to Morgoth’s side, maybe Thuringwethil tries to convince Ilmarë to come with her
• Thuringwethil still longing for Ilmarë (and perhaps the other way round) when she serves Morgoth, maybe she even attempts to abduct her

Lúthien Tinúviel/Thuringwethil (Silmarillion):

• Thuringwethil is unable to turn down Luthien’s wishes and ends up letting herself be destroyed

• turning to each other right before the end (maybe before they steal the silmarils back?), something along the lines of “everything has gone to hell already, so what is there left to lose? We are all we have left anyway.” Make it sad, dark, twisted, angry, despaired... make me cry.
• being drunk out of their minds one evening and never speaking of it again

 Tar-Míriel/Uinen (Silmarillion):

• sinking into Uinen’s loving embrace
• Tar-Míriel telling her secrets and wishes to the sea, with Uinen listening.

Arien/Ungoliant (Silmarillion):

• there is no brighter being left in this world and Ungoliant wants her, wants her more than she ever wanted the Silmarils, even if it will destroy her
