I'm pretty easy to please and while I don't have specific wishes for all the characters and groups I requested, I wouldn't be any less happy about works for the ones I have no or less elaborate prompts for. And if you want to write something different than the prompts I posted, please do so!
I generally don't really separate between the different fandoms, so if a worldbuilding tag or idea from one fandom or setting inspires something with a character from a different one, go ahead and mix them! Also, feel free to add other characters than I requested if it works for the story. Wild combinations and AUs are also great!
I'm putting the prompts that weren't in the AO3 sign-up in italics.
Lord of the Rings (books)
Prompt 1: Elrond fosters 2 Dúnedain children at once, both for them to have company and to make it less obvious which one is actually the heir. Childhood, reveal, moments of danger, rivalry, friendship… up to you! Could feature Aragorn, but could be about others too.
Prompt 2: Primula and Drogo try to get out of an unhappy marriage (or some other unpleasant situation, or just for giggles?) by pretending to die. I could see this being Primula/Lobelia (if you want to).
Prompt 3: Any history really! The time between Gondor losing control of Isengard and Saruman moving there would be interesting. As would exploring the reason why Faramir (son of Ondoher) went to fight with the Éothéod and died in their leader's arms. Or anything about Fíriel and her family. Or… ;)
Prompt 4: Glorfindel crack theories! Can be crack, can be taken seriously! Does he suffer, or enjoy it? My pet Glorfindel crack theory is that his father was the balrog that "killed" him (aka his death being faked) and that he is able to shift between his elf and his balrog form. Is he perhaps the balrog of Moria? I also love the pasta worldbuilding tags. Does he try to hide that his hair is pasta? Does he constantly have to ward off hungry hobbits? Is he glad to have a daily haircut to supply all of Middle-earth with pasta?

Prompt 1: Culinary catastrophes from Gondor (and elsewhere)! Crack, horror, anything delicious or utterly revolting: this is the place for it! Feel free to combine Denethor's tomato eating habits with Glorfindel's pasta hair if you like. Or have him the nightmare of every tomato, brought to life in terrifying tales.
Prompt 2: Just good old slice of life, friendship, family, … or drama!
Prompt 3: Anything else these tags inspire!
Prompt 4: I love any worldbuilding about Rohan. Family feels are also great for this!
Hobbit (movies)
Prompt 1: Dwarves and Dragons! Dwarves turning into dragons (or vice versa?), dragon magic, revenge, pity, misunderstandings…
Prompt 2: Mirkwood and necromancy. He's called the Necromancer, but the only one we see him bring back from the dead is himself, and maybe the Nazgûl. So I'd like to see some actual necromancy, hard decisions and bargaining, the effects on the lands… wherever it takes you!
Prompt 3: Shippy goodness (see pairings in the request)! I'm just craving something shippy, whether that's pining, H/C, fluff or something tragic.
Prompt 4: Anything else my tags inspire you to create!
Book of Lost Tales
Prompt 1: I love the whimsy in BoLT, so anything along those lines would be great!
Prompt 2: So many characters in Tolkien's works have Linguistic Opinions, so it would be interesting to see Melko (or his underlings) torture prisoners with language use they hate (played straight or humor is both great). I also like the idea of Rúmil having learned the languages of beasts etc. as a thrall, and thus something nice coming out of a horrible situation through linguistic exchange. Is the blackbird with the strange song really sent by Melko or just a traveller from far lands?
Prompt 3: Evil kitties! Can be the original ones, or them being reborn to bring chaos to all of Middle-earth. Or do Tevildo and his minion occasionally posess normal cats? Some crossover with Berúthiel's cats would also be fun.
Prompt 4: Anything else these tags inspire!
I think it would also be fun to explore these characters/settings in art, if you're so inclined.
Silmarillion
1: Crab elves! How does this influence their culture, history and culinary choices? Can they shift back and forth or only switch once or twice? Is it voluntary, an accident, caused by environmental factors or a punishment?
2: Daeron is Lúthien's half-sibling. How did that change their relationship? Does Daeron seek out/save the other Peredhil because of this? Or does it just make things complicated?
3: Yavanna decides to bring back extinct species. How does this influence things? Does Melkor try to use it to his advantage? Do people try to domesticate them? Or is the de-extinction someone else's project, and what are their motivations? Do things go as planned?
4: Hobbits are descended from the Petty-Dwarves. How did this happen? Who knows? How does it inform their world-view and mythology? Do the hobbits themselves know who their ancestors were? How did they go from being hunted by elves to liking them?! Are some of the elves aware of this or do they find out? If you want to combine this with the crab-elf prompt, is crab soup their revenge for first age massacres?

Prompt 1: I love the idea that Gandalf is so done with everything that he sends someone else on the quest (do they also get his powers?) and goes on a holiday (to the Shire? to the beach? the most remote cave in Mordor? Somewhere else?). What was the moment that caused him to decide that he's indeed in need of a vacation? Who does he meet on vacation (if anyone)?
Prompt 2: There's a little bit somewhere in canon about Gollum making his way into the Woodsmen's stories through his… um… culinary choices. I'd love something featuring him as some kind of demon-like being.
Prompt 3: Mirkwood is full of black butterflies and strange things happen to the people who fall into the river. What if there's a connection? Creepy is great, but the transformed people enjoying themselves is also nice. Is the sleep caused by the river like being in a cocoon? Is the people being transformed into butterflies perhaps the only way Thranduil found to save them at all? Or is it more sinister from his side?
Prompt 4: Dwarves transforming into dragons! Did Smaug take revenge for being cast from society? Does he remember being a dwarf?
