Dear creator!

Thanks for writing for me, and thanks for reading this! These always turn out fairly long for me, so please just strg + f to the relevant fandoms or pairings.

I love gen, friendships, family stories and femslash (any ship really, I’m a multishipper and like seeing interesting combinations but I also like the more common pairings), so any of those would be great! I’m not a big fan of het though, so I’d prefer any het to be canon pairings and only in the background of the story. I also wouldn’t mind if you throw in characters (particularly female ones) that aren’t in my list or weren’t nominated.

Likes: world-building, cultural differences and cultures being explored in general, ARs (particularly in-verse what-ifs, e.g. what would have happened if character A had/hadn’t died, battle x hadn’t been won…), slice of life, humour (including crack), fluff, H/C, angst, tragedy (character death is perfectly fine with me, just no focus on serious illnesses please), dark!AUs/dark!characters (excluding non-con), UST, siblings interacting, other family interactions, characters showing an unexpected side, underdogs having their chance to shine, strong characters going through trials and suffering, unexpected and unlikely friendships, characters doing something they are good at doing (I also love nerdy knowledgey bits showing up if they fit in).

DNW: PWP (fade to black or something slightly smuttier where it fits the story is fine, though I’ll probably be too awkward to comment on it), serious illness, A/B/O, non-con, bestiality, underage, incest (at least not between different generations or shown in a way where it’s portrayed as unproblematic; if it’s between siblings and portrayed as dark, twisted and conflicted (or unknowing with that classic element of “Noo, what did we do?!” when they realize what happened), that’s fine with me).

The ideas and quotes below are obviously just suggestions (and still sadly incomplete und underformated, I'm working on changing that...), I'll be equally happy if you come up with different ideas. Likewise, if one of the quotes inspires you for a different character/group than the one I've listed it under, that's great too!

One more thing: I'll be on the road when the stories are revealed and am not sure if I’ll have internet access or how good that internet access will be. So if I don’t reply right away, it’s not that I don’t like it or am being rude, it’s just that I’m not able to access it the way I’d like to. Sorry about that!

Harry Potter:

·  Hermione Granger : I’d both love to see how her particular attitude about knowledge and her being well, a bit of a know-it-all is challenged or how she uses it to put someone in their place. Alternatively, I’d also be interested in reading about how she finds it slightly difficult to make friends outside the Golden Trio.

·  Minerva McGonagall : She’s more than just the strict but good-hearted teacher, I’m sure of it. Her past between finishing school and becoming a teacher, her life outside Hogwarts, with whom she talks in the staff room… I’d love any of it. Anything shippy is welcome as well (I’m just not a fan of the Pottermore version, as you might have guessed).

·  Luna Lovegood : I’d really enjoy reading something about her unusual view on the world around her, maybe something about her travels to find all those strange magical creatures.

“The world is mud-luscious and puddle-wonderful.”
E.E. Cummings

·  Lily Evans Potter

·  Narcissa Black Malfoy : “Never let anybody guess that you have a mind of your own. Above all be pure”
Virginia Woolf

·  Ginny Weasley

·  Andromeda Black Tonks

“Let me lose everything on earth and the world beyond, but let me not lose what I'm craving for, let it be that i died on the way than retreating from getting it.”
Michael Bassey Johnson

·  Group:Minerva McGonagall & Molly Weasley : Striking up a friendship during the regular visits Molly has to make to Hogwarts to hear about her son’s disciplinary issues (not canon, I know, but which school wouldn’t want to talk to the parents occasionally if their kids get up to the things Fred and George did?). Maybe slightly awkward at first because while Molly didn’t live for rules, she didn’t constantly overstep them either and Professor McGonagall was one of the teachers she liked and respected. Or Minerva helping Molly deal with the grief of losing her brothers, maybe because she just happened to be the one around when it all finally hits home for Molly.

·  Group: Padma Patil & Parvati Patil : Anything about the times when they were especially close or especially distant (or the transition between) would be great.

·  Group: Luna Lovegood & Hermione Granger : I’d love something dealing with how their different skills/ways of thinking helps the other out of a tight spot. Shippy would be great as well.

·  Helga Hufflepuff

·  Rowena Ravenclaw

Hobbit/LoTR:

·  Dís (H/LotR) : I love reading anything dealing with her and her brothers, helping her people survive in the wandering years, raising her sons or ruling Erebor or the settlement in the Blue Mountains while struggling with her grief and perhaps reluctantly befriending Tauriel (in this case, I wouldn’t mind past Kíli/Tauriel). I love shipping her with Belladonna, but she’s also a bit of a shiplauncher for me.

“a wind has blown the rain away & the sky away & all the leaves away, & the trees stand. i think i, too, have known autumn too long.”
E.E. Cummings

·  Belladonna Took (H/LotR) : I’d love anything dealing with Belladonna’s friendship with Gandalf, her relationship with any of her many siblings (or their children, for that matter) or her going on an adventure. My favourite little rarepair is Dís/Belladonnna, so if you feel like it… :)

“She had a wild, wandering soul
but when she loved, she loved with chaos and that made all the difference.”
Ariana Dancu

·  Tauriel (H/LotR) : I’d love a story about her daily life in the guard of Mirkwood, maybe with her mentoring another female guard or showing her friendship with one. A story about her being pretty much adopted by Thranduil and her subsequent sibling dynamics with Legolas would also be great. Or I’d love to see her railing after being exiled, or perhaps managing to catch herself again. If you feel like writing crack, I also love the “infamous Tauriel” theory, in which she is somehow responsible for everything that ever went wrong in Middle-earth...

“I am not a Sunday morning inside four walls
with clean blood
and organized drawers.
I am the hurricane setting fire to the forests
at night when no one else is alive
or awake
however you choose to see it
and I live in my own flames
sometimes burning too bright and too wild
to make things last
or handle
myself or anyone else
and so I run.
run run run
far and wide
until my bones ache and lungs split
and it feels good.
Hear that people? It feels good
because I am the slave and ruler of my own body
and I wish to do with it exactly as I please”
Charlotte Eriksson

·  Tilda (H/LotR) : Tilda trying to find her place (both in her family and in society) would be interesting. She’s not the heir, she’s not the responsible older sister, but I can imagine she wants to be more than just the little sister. I wouldn’t mind seeing her helping her older siblings out of tight spots by clever thinking (that people who don’t know her that well wouldn’t necessarily expect) either.

·  Sigrid (H/LotR) : I’m always interested in seeing how Sigrid adapts to her new role when Dale is resettled. Interactions with her siblings (both with her being the responsible big sister, getting along and little sibling squabbles) would be great too. I’m also a big fan of Sigrid/Tauriel.

·  Group: Tauriel & Thranduil's Wife (H/LotR)

·  Beruthiel (H/LotR) : History is of course written by the winners, so I’d love to see her side of the story. What was Berúthiel’s life like before and after living in Gondor? Maybe there was one person she trusted aside from her cats? I’d also enjoy reading about her everyday life, listening to what her cats found out by spying on the people of Gondor. If you decide to go the femslash route: Berúthiel takes her loyal handmaiden with her to Gondor and in the unfamiliar surrounding that does little to make them feel welcome, they cling together even more. Perhaps the relationship turns obsessive and unhealthy. Or Berúthiel wasn’t able to take her handmaiden with her and yearns to go back to her.

“Who writes your name in letters of smoke among the stars of the south?
Oh let me remember you as you were before you existed.”
Pablo Neruda, Twenty Love Poems and a Song of Despair

“The moon in all her immaculate purity hung in the sky, laughing at this world of dust. She congratulated me for my carefully considered maneuvers and invited me to share in her eternal solitude.”
Shan Sa, Empress

·  Ioreth (H/LotR) : Anything dealing with her becoming a healer or the little customs and traditions of Gondor would be lovely! As would be a relationship with one of her female fellow healers or a former patients...

·  Lobelia Sackville-Baggins (H/LotR) : And another woman we only get to see through the eyes of men who don't particularly like her... Again, I'd love to see her side of the story, perhaps showing that she did have her reasons and maybe even a slightly softer side, no matter how much she hates backing down (and loves those silver spoons... XD). I'd also love to see her in a relationship with another female hobbit, or perhaps even Dís or Tauriel...

·  Hilda Bianca (H/LotR) : There is just not enough about this badass woman from Lake-town who seems to have her heart in the right place. Just tell me about her life or maybe show her mentoring Sigrid and Tilda. I have the little headcanon that she might be the sister of Sigrid, Bain and Tilda’s mother, so if you want to use that in any way… Seriously, anything about her would make me happy.

·  Vidumavi (H/LotR) : I'm interested in the culture of Rhovanion and how Vidumavi's life changed when she married Valacar and moved to Gondor (I don't mind Vidumavi/Valacar, obviously... XD).

·  Estella Bolger (H/LotR)

·  Diamond Took (H/LotR)

·  Group: Arwen's Daughter & Éowyn's Daughter

·  Éowyn (H/LotR)

“I'm not a girl that will lay in diamonds but I will run through the flowers of the seeds we plant together.”
Nikki Rowe

·  Malbeth (H/LotR)

·  Original Dale Resident Character (H/LotR)

·  Original Shieldmaiden of Rohan (H/LotR)

“Let me not pray to be sheltered from dangers,
but to be fearless in facing them.

Let me not beg for the stilling of my pain, but
for the heart to conquer it.”
Rabindranath Tagore, Collected Poems and Plays of Rabindranath Tagore

“A secret's worth depends on the people from whom it must be kept.”
Carlos Ruiz Zafón, The Shadow of the Wind

·  Regency or Victorian Commoner

·  Mad Scientist (Original)

“The plants in the garden - the aloes, the almond tree, the rose tree and the iris - were afraid of her. The flowers withered under her breath and the touch of her hand was leprous for the leaves. The plants whose growth is belief, whose breathing is hope, whose immobility is confidence and whose calyx is prayer, the plants who kept watch into the night, hated this women with the secret force of stars.”
Hendrik Cramer

A Song of Ice and Fire

·  Arya Stark

“To run with the wolf was to run in the shadows, the dark ray of life, survival and instinct. A fierceness that was both proud and lonely, a tearing, a howling, a hunger and thirst. Blessed are they who hunger and thirst. A strength that would die fighting, kicking, screaming, that wouldn't stop until the last breath had been wrung from its body. The will to take one's place in the world. To say 'I am here.' To say 'I am.”
O.R. Melling

·  Margaery Tyrell: I'm rather interested in her motivations and the further difficulties she might encounter on her path to really becoming THE queen. I'm also interested in seeing her being torn between her political interest and friendship (or even love?).

·  Asha Greyjoy : Growing up in such a men’s society can’t have been easy. I’d love to see something about her pushing to get to the place we see her at in the books.

·  Group: Brienne of Tarth & Margaery Tyrell :

“It gives me strength to have somebody to fight for; I can never fight for myself, but, for others, I can kill.”
Emilie Autumn, The Asylum for Wayward Victorian Girls

·  group: Sansa Stark & Margaery Tyrell : Margaery keeps wondering what became of Sansa. Meeting again in the future

“She left, never to return. I planted a tree and a seed each time I thought of her. I grew a small forest and a large garden and had no one to give the orchids to.”
Darnell Lamont Walker

·  group: Sansa Stark & Brienne of Tarth: These two are such an interesting combination: Sansa having grown up on the whole traditional rolemodel thing while Brienne utterly rejected it for herself. And after all the disillusionment Sansa has been through, here’s the one knight that could actually be seen as everything a knight should be (you know, except male)- or does Sansa still stick to the usual prejudices according to the prescribed roles first?  Add in Brienne’s loyalty to Catlyn and  there’s definitely some interesting potential for these two, whether gen or shippy.
