Taking Yuletide Requests/Prompts!

Hi everyone!

I’ve decided to take some Christmas/yuletide/winter requests/prompts. My goal is to write a story at least every few days, so the stories are probably going to be fairly short (I’m aiming at 500-1000 words). Which also means that if you ask for a story dealing with every single Christmas in Thranduil’s life or something like that, chances are I won’t be able to do it. ;)

Prompts/requests can be anything from a short summary/plot/story idea, a word or phrase, a quote or snippet of a song, a photo… I would prefer if it’s not so detailed that it’s already a story, though. ;)

 

Generally, I’m taking Gen, F/F and M/M prompts of any genre (humor, fluff, angst, h/c, horror, modern AU… you name it).

I’m afraid I’m not terribly comfortable writing smut, so I’m not taking any NSFW prompts (though there may be some slight NSFW elements in the stories, unless you tell me to avoid those). I’d also prefer not to write incest, poly, non-con/dub-con, underage, pairings with huge age differences (at least in the non-Tolkien fandoms and if it doesn’t involve time travel), something with an OC you’ve made up or including the reader as a character. I also won’t be writing stories in which one character from a pairing with characters that are canonically both male is female for the story (or a female character from a F/F pairing is male), e.g. no Thorin/fem!Bilbo.

Fandoms and pairings:

The Hobbit:

Thorin/Bilbo, Thorin/Dwalin, Bilbo/Bofur, Thorin/Thranduil, Thranduil/Dáin, Fíli/Ori, Kíli/Ori, Bofur/Fíli, any femslash

Lord of the Rings:

Frodo/Sam, Merry/Pippin, Legolas/Gimli, Aragorn/Boromir, femslash

Harry Potter:

Remus/Sirius, Sirius/James, Remus/Severus, Severus/Regulus, Remus/Regulus, Luna/Ginny, Hermione/Ginny, Hermione/Pansy, Narcissa/Lily, Albus/Gellert, Minerva/Pomona

BBC Merlin:

                Merlin/Arthur, Gwen/Morgana


If you want to ask for a different pairing than the ones I’ve listed, go ahead and try your luck, especially if it’s a rare-pair. I might have to say no though. This includes M/F pairings; even though I’ll focus on Gen, M/M and F/F stories, I might do one or two M/F stories too.

For the Gen prompts, I’ll take any characters from the listed fandoms.

That said, I can’t guarantee I’ll manage to write something for every prompt (though I will try!) or that I’ll manage to get everything done before Christmas.
