Dear Chocolatier,

first of all, thank you so much for creating for me!

I'm pretty easy to please, and though I tend to get a bit wordy in these letter, but those are all just suggestions in case you needs some ideas to get started.If you have something else in mind, just run with that instead!

I do have a few things I don't really feel comfortable with though, so let's get started with that.

for the Tolkien fandoms: I have a special fondness for the Age of the Two Lamps and the strange flora and fauna that was around in those days. So if there's something that would fit in that setting, or perhaps fossils (or even living fossils?) from that time that show up, go ahead. ;)

I have some prompts for the various pairings and character combos below, listed by fandom and then in no specific order. Please feel free to just STRG + F to the ones that are relevant to you, since I am never very good at keeping my list short.

The Hobbit (All Media Types)

Carc & Thorin:

I'd basically be happy to see anything about their friendship. I imagine Carc liked to give young Thorin advice, but whether that advice was always well received or not... ;) Perhaps there was a tradition that dwarves of Durin's line should bond with a raven (perhaps with some supernatural elements like the raven showing up in dreams to warn about certain events, but the warning can't necessarily be used to stop said events from happening) , but they got off to a rocky start. I'd also enjoy an AU in which Carc is still alive when Thorin returns to the Lonely Mountain.

Thorin/Thranduil:

There are two aspects I love about this relationship. The first is that they just really don't want to like each other, but can't help themselves, resulting in grouchiness and relying on silly chances to get them together. The other is that uncanny aspect of Thranduil (I love the Erlkönig comparisons) and how that might play into the relationship. Some dub-con is alright for this version.

Sigrid & Tauriel:

I'd love to see Tauriel mentoring Sigrid, either in using weapons or in healing. Alternatively, I could see Tauriel travelling to Dale years after the events in the Hobbit (perhaps in need of help?) and being surprised that Sigrid still remembers her. (If it takes you down the shippy route, that would be just as appreciated as gen).

The Hobbit (Jackson Movies)

Galadriel/Tauriel:

I could see Tauriel going to Lothlorien after the events of the Hobbit (past Tauriel/Kíli would be alright) and Galadriel helping her get her bearings back. An encounter in Mirkwood before those events would also be interesting, perhaps there is a situation in which Tauriel thinks Galadriel needs to be rescued from the spiders (or some other horror of Mirkwood) and is rather impressed when Galadriel proves she doesn't need to be rescued.

Tauriel & Thranduil:

I'd love something about Thranduil more or less adopting Tauriel. Something about that decision or them bonding would be nice, or maybe about their relationship getting more complicated later on. Any Mirkwood weirdness (or Thranduil having that strange connection to the forest) would also be great. Feel free to add in Legolas, though I'd very much prefer him to be more like a brother to Tauriel rather than romantically attracted (but perhaps Thranduil doesn't see that?)

Lord of the Rings

Alatar & Palando:

Oh the untold adventures! I'd love to read about them discovering the mountains, plains and forests of the East, weathering storms, discovering the cultures there, interacting with Moriquendi... you name it! Or show them struggling (and perhaps even failing) with their quest, or reuniting after years apart. Something about their early years, before being sent on their quest would also be interesting.

Aragorn & Halbarad:

I'd love to read something about their first meeting and about Halbarad showing him how some things are done differently among the Dunedain (because I do imagine that despite Elrond giving Aragorn a thorough education, there would be at least some things that would be different from the version Aragorn was taught). Anything about them travelling and fighting together would also be great, just slice of life stuff. If you want to write an AU about Halbarad surviving the war and what role he plays afterwards (advisor? Talking with Aragorn about how it is to be in Minas Tirith? Steward in Arnor?), that would also be wonderful. (If it takes you down the shippy route, that would be just as appreciated as gen).

Beregond (&Bergil) & Pippin:

I just want to see more of them interacting in that interesting setting of peace before the storm of war, wondering about each others cultures and just generally being the wonderful characters they are. Letters sent between them later on or meeting each other again later would also be great. They just all need some more love!

Goldberry/Lady of the Blue Brooch:

Any thing about how they met, interacted or about how Goldberry found out about the Lady of the Blue Brooch's death (or perhaps she tried to save her, or actually managed to save her?) would be great. I also love Cardolan and the other northern kingdoms, so if you feel like adding your take on the culture etc, that would also be much appreciated.

Or if you want to take a more supernatural approach to this, have them interacting after the Lady of the Blue Brooch's death...

Arvedui/Fíriel:

I'd like to see them falling in love despite their marriage being mostly a political one. Show them standing side by side during the difficult times Arthedain was facing (or did they argue about which decisions to make, but ended up growing closer together despite those arguments?) and dealing with the downfall. Did they go down together or did Fíriel survive Arvedui? Something about Arvedui helping Fíriel deal with the loss of her father and brothers would also be great. If you want to go AU, I'd also love to see Fíriel being the ruling queen of Gondor with her husband's support (I'd very much prefer if he didn't just take over though).

Anything that involves their culture and history, or their dealings with the dwarves or the Lossoth would also be much appreciated!

Fíriel/Malbeth:

I'd be interested in reading about their first meeting, perhaps Malbeth already knows all about Fíriel because of her prophetic abilities. Or something about Malbeth trying from afar to avert Fíriel's fate (perhaps she somehow manages to prevent Fíriel from joining Arvedui on the ship?). Up to you if Fíriel and Arvedui's is purely a political one and Arvedui gives her all the freedoms she likes once their sons are born, or if Malbeth is Fíriel's secret escape from the marriage she didn't want, or if Fíriel and Malbeth only get together once Arvedui is dead, or if the feelings are unrequited. While I'd generally prefer Malbeth to be female, I wouldn't mind a male Malbeth if the feeling are unrequited.

Celeborn & Thranduil:

Anything about these two would be lovely, whether it is along the lines of them having a little bit of a rivalry going on, or about them being friendlier than is often assumed. Perhaps something about them grudgingly gaining respect for each other during the Battle of Dagorlad or about them cooperating for the good of their realms. I'm always fascinated by that deep connection Thranduil has with his forest, so maybe something about that or about Celeborn developing a similar connection which just manifests in a somewhat different way because of the different nature of the elves and their forests.

Éomer/Faramir:

It would be interesting if they already meet during a campaign before the events of LotR and feelings develop between them either during that campaign or when they meet again. Alternately, I could also see them growing closer during the talks that must have taken place after Sauron was defeated and perhaps they find themselves seeking out the company of each other even after they've already spent all day together in the talks. I'd love to read something dealing with the differences in their personalities.

Faramir & Pippin:

I'd just love anything about their friendship. They had this sympathy for each each other right away and then Pippin saved Faramir's life. I'd just love to see more about them actually interacting with each other, whether that is in the Houses of Healing, before the hobbits travel back to the Shire, letters they send to each other, visits or the two of them looking back on old days when Pippin and Merry travel to Gondor when they are old.

Female Half-Orc/Woman of Gondor or Female Orc/Female Human Noble:

I can imagine there would be quite a bit of a story of how they even got to know each other, so I'd love to read that. I'm also quite interested in finding out about the prejudices they encounter and how they deal with them, as well as the cultural differences they have to deal with.

Harry Potter - J. K. Rowling

Alastor "Mad-Eye" Moody & Severus Snape:

I'd love a story where Moody and Snape are forced to get along for some order mission and discover that they do actually have something in common.

Charity Burbage & Severus Snape or Severus Snape & Other Hogwarts Professors:

It is always assumed that Snape didn't have good working relationships with any of his colleagues bar Dumbledore. But I don't think that's likely, considering that they are adults trapped in a close environment with a bunch of teenagers for years on end. I'd like a story about Snape and colleague of your choice commiserating about TEH DUMB of students. The more sarcasm the better....

Regulus Black & Sirius Black:

Bittersweet to tragic. Standing up for each other as children, assumed betrayal (because of course they come to always assume the worst of each other), poisoning their relationship more even when they don’t want to… but still caring about each other, even if they don’t want to admit it to themselves. AU in which Sirius lives long enough to hear how Regulus really died or both of them living and reconciling would be interesting too.

Minerva McGonagall/Poppy Pomfrey (Rowling):

I’d love to see some h/c during the war or something sweet . Perhaps they leave little things to make the other smile when they know they will have a difficult day. Or something about how they got together in the first place, perhaps after working together for years.

Fleur Delacour/Nymphadora Tonks:

What if Fleur had decided to do an internship at the Aurors instead of the bank? Maybe Tonks secretly loves the way Fleur pronounces her first name – and Fleur knows it? Or they turn to each other after being widowed in the war? Pure fluff or any other scenario is welcome too.

Crookshanks & Minerva McGonnagall:

I basically just need more stories about Minerva and her animagus form and the encounters she had as a cat. I could imagine something about her and Crookshanks making an agreement that he notifies her if the golden trio gets up to anything too dangerous, or he just ends up doing that without prior agreement. Bonus if he sometimes notifies her about something that only a cat would see as being dangerous (“she's taking a shower, SAVE HER!”)

Albus Dumbledore/Gellert Grindelwald:

I always enjoy stories in which Albus kind of notices that things are not heading in the right direction even before Ariana's death, but is really good at denying that. Or stories in which he visits Gellert in prison every once in a while and has really conflicting feeling about these visits.

Cabin Pressure

MJN Air:

I'd love a hurt/comfort story where the four are stranded somewhere - most likely because some part of Gerti fell off again - and for once Arthur and Martin are the ones to come up with the brilliant idea that saves the day. How about Douglas and Carolyn leave for a loo break or to get food or something and when they get back, Arthur and Martin have solved the issue.

Douglas Richardson & Arthur Shappey:

I'd love a a hurt/comfort story where Douglas cheers up Arthur after a run-in with his father.

Martin Crieff & Douglas Richardson & Arthur Shappey:

For some reason, when I think of Martin in his aviator sunglasses, I always have to think of Tim Minchin's "It's almost a counterproductive disguise. It's like a pedophile wearing brown tinted aviator glasses when he goes to the pool. If anything, it makes him look more like a pedophile." So some story maybe, where Martin wears them, is mistaken for some known criminal and taken into custody and Carolyn and Douglas have to move heaven and hell to get him out again.

For the Original Stories and the Silmarillion fandom, I'm happy with anything you come up with!
